​Madelyn Dawson is 18 years old and in her first year at Yale University—though originally  from Staten Island, NY. Previously, she served as an editor for Polyphony Lit and has had poetry published with the American High School Poets' Society and the Writers Circle Journal. Madelyn  is primarily an artist in mixed-media and text art and she is passionate about cognitive science and mental health awareness.
